"Safe Cities" Series on Rogers TV

The Crime Prevention Council has partnered with Rogers TV to present "Safe Cities", a ten-part series on issues related to crime, victimization and fear of crime.  The series will air on Rogers TV, Cable 20 on the last Wednesday of each month from September through June as part of  the channel's prime time program, Talk Local with host Mike Farwell.

"Safe Cities" will feature local crime prevention topics and best practices, provide a panel discussion with local experts and offer an opportunity for the public to call in with questions. Topics will include:

• Drugs, Alcohol & Crime (Oct 28)
• Crimes Against Children (Nov 25)
• Women & Crime (Dec 23)
• Seniors & Crime (Jan 27)
• Youth & Crime (Feb 24)
• Neighbourhoods & Fear of Crime (March 31)
• Behind Bars:  Inside Prison  (April 28 )
• Beyond Bars:  Current Approaches & Alternatives (May 26)
• So What? Now What?  Wrap up (June 30)
