Canadian
& World Connections
Whether
you live in a small rural town or a large urban centre, setting
up a Crime Prevention Council is no easy task! Each community is
unique and has its own set of challenges and expectations. This
site tells our story, our experiences in building partnerships
for the greater safety of our community, our success and our
challenges. We gladly share this with you.

Canada's crime prevention connections with communities

When
communities connect, a safer Canada for all becomes possible. We would
like to receive your feedback.

In December
2003, over 125 practitioners, researchers and elected
officials came together in Waterloo Region for the first ever
Canadian forum on evidence based crime prevention. The Agenda
for a Safer Canada was developed at that time, as well as a fact
